Dakulian Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Xinghe County, Wulanchabu City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the north of Xinghe County, adjacent to Zhangjiakou City in Hebei Province in the East, Qijia Township in Shangyi County in the south, national unity Township in the south, meiguiying town in Chahar right-wing Front Banner in the west, and Xiaohaizi town in Shangdu County in the north, with an administrative area of 437 square kilometers.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Xinghe hall; in the Republic of China, it belonged to the Sixth District of Xinghe County; in 1984, the dakulian commune was transformed into a township. By the end of 2018, the population of the registered residence in big couplet township was 33672. As of June 2020, dakulian township has 17 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in dakulian township was 3790 yuan. In 2018, there are 12 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in dakulian township.

In Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Xinghe hall.
