Tunkendui Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Shangdu County, Wulanchabu City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the north of Shangdu County, adjacent to glasshujing Township in the East, Qitai town in the south, Xijingzi town in the West and dakulun Township in the north, with an administrative area of 580.81 square kilometers.
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was the Fourth District of Shangdu County; in July 2001, it was merged with Erdaowa Township and renamed tunkendui town; in 2006, dananfang township was merged into tunkendui town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in the reclamation group was 39829. As of June 2020, tunkendui town has 27 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
In 2011, the per capita net income of the farmers in the reclamation team was 1185 yuan. In 2018, there were 14 industrial enterprises in tunkendui Town, including 4 above scale enterprises and 1 comprehensive store or supermarket with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was the Fourth District of Shangdu county.
In 1956, it was changed into the village of reclamation team.
In 1958, Dawning commune was established.
In 1961, it was renamed the reclamation Corps commune.
In 1984, the commune of the reclamation team was transformed into a township.
In July 2001, it merged with Erdaowa Township and was renamed tunkendui town.
In 2006, dananfang township was merged into tunkendui town.
