History and culture
The origin of place names
Aoluguya Ewenki nationality township is named after Aoluguya river. Aoluguya is an Ewenki language "the place where poplar trees flourish".
National Development
Aoluguya Ewenki nationality township is a nationality township with Ewenki nationality as the main body. Historically, historians all over the world have different names for the Ewenki people, such as "Tungus", "Solon" and "Yakut". The Ewenki hunters in Aoluguya Ewenki township are called "Yakut". After liberation, according to the wishes of Ewenki, the party and the state restored and unified the original name of "Ewenki" at the end of 1957.
Oruguya Ewenki hunters moved from oroketun on the banks of the Lena river near Lake Baikal to the Erguna River Basin more than 300 years ago. Since 1949, the party and the state have successively established economic, cultural and medical service facilities for Ewenki hunters, such as supply and marketing cooperatives, ethnic primary schools, tuberculosis prevention and control centers, clubs and animal farms, in Qiqian village on the Bank of Erguna River, where Ewenki hunters are relatively concentrated. They have created production and living conditions for Ewenki hunters to go out of the mountains and live in Qiqian (according to the statistics at that time, 136 people, 35 Households). In 1957, according to the party's policy of regional ethnic autonomy, Qiqian Ewenki ethnic township was established with the approval of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Ewenki hunters had their own grass-roots political power for the first time in history. Among the Ewenki hunters, there were Township heads and Deputy Township heads. Among the 15 Township People's committee members, there were seven Ewenki hunters, which completely replaced "Jinas" (chief meaning, tribe and clan) Members of the clan are jointly elected as public leaders responsible for dealing with the internal problems of the tribe and the clan.
In September 1960, Qiqian people's commune with Ewenki hunters as the main group was established. In September 1965, Aoluguya Ewenki Township immigrated as a whole for the first time. 35 Hunter families moved out of Qiqian people's Commune and settled on the Bank of Aoluguya river. The township government was set up in Mangui Ewenki township. This historic social change is of great significance to the development of the culture and health of Ewenki hunters, the control of the spread of diseases, the protection of their health, the development of population, the improvement of labor productivity, the development of economy and the improvement of their life. In 1968, the people's Committee of man Gui Town was established, and the towns and townships were integrated. In 1973, Aoluguya Ewenki nationality township was set up in the northern part of the administrative region of Manchu GUI. The township was moved from Manchu GUI to Aoluguya. In June 2001, with the approval of the Department of civil affairs of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the project of "ecological migration project and relocation poverty alleviation project" in Aoluguya Ewenki ethnic township was established.
