Buta Township

Buta township is a township level administrative unit under the jurisdiction of Dingqing County, Changdu City, Tibet Autonomous Region of the people's Republic of China. Buta township is under the jurisdiction of Dingqing county.

General situation

Located in the north of the county, 96 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 1753.78 square kilometers and has a population of 3231 (2017). It has jurisdiction over two village committees, Ruta and buta.

Buta township was established in 1960, the commune was changed in 1974, and the township was restored in 1984.
