In the 22nd year of the Republic of China (1933), Sama street Gacha was established, which belongs to nutuk of Jiqin river. On September 27, 1984, Sama Street commune was changed into Ewenki nationality township of SAMA street, which is located in SAMA street. By the end of 2018, 8302 households had registered residence in the Ewenki nationality township of SAMA street. As of June 2020, six administrative villages are under the jurisdiction of the Ewenki ethnic village in SAMA street.
