Chenzui town

Chenzui town is located in the southwest of Wuqing District of Tianjin city, adjacent to Huangzhuang street of Wuqing District in the East, shigezhuang town in the west, douzhangzhuang Township in the north, Shuangkou town of Beichen District in the south, 12km away from wuqingcheng district and 11km away from Tianjin Outer Ring Road.

With a total area of 61.27 square kilometers, the town governs 9 natural villages and 14 administrative villages, with a total population of 31613 people (2017) and cultivated land of 66000 mu.

At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, there was a family surnamed Chen who settled on the mouth of the Hun River and silted it into a sand mouth. After the village was built, it was named Chen Jiazui. Later, it evolved into chenzui. Chen Tsui commune was established in 1958, and Chen Tsui township was changed in June 1983. In 1996, it covers an area of 70 square kilometers and has a population of 31000. It has jurisdiction over 14 administrative villages, namely chenzui, yubakou, dongxiaoji, pangzhuangzi, Lichang, Xiaowang, yangzhuangzi, Dawang and aipuzhuang. In October 2001, the township was removed to build a town. Economic overview

"Fresh corn" is the characteristic leading industry of the town, with an annual multiple cropping area of 30000 Mu and an export of 8 million ears. After more than ten years of development, it has formed four series of 30 varieties, namely ordinary series, waxy series, sweet series and sweet waxy series. It is 12 kilometers away from wuqingcheng District, 20 kilometers away from Tianjin urban area, 89 kilometers away from Beijing, 35 kilometers away from Tianjin airport and 61 kilometers away from Tianjin port. It is also close to the exit of Beijing Shanghai expressway. The 112 expressway that has been started construction has an exit in the town, connecting with Tianjin, Beijing, Hebei and the surrounding areas The Bohai economic belt is connected by expressways. The planned Beijing Shanghai high speed railway, Beijing Fuzhou highway, 112 Expressway and Jinyong Road pass through the area.
