Aera Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Molidawa Daur Autonomous Banner in Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the south of Molidawa Daur Autonomous Banner. It is connected with xivartu town in the East, Southeast and south, Baoshan town and dular Township in the west across Nuomin River, and kuruqi Township in the Northwest and North, with an administrative area of 354.27 square kilometers.

The town of aera originally belonged to aeranutuk; in April 1986, it was set up. By the end of 2018, the population of Al La town registered residence was 7648. As of June 2020, aera town has 1 community and 11 administrative villages.

In 2011, the total revenue of aera town was 352000 yuan, an increase of 11.1% over the previous year. The per capita net income of farmers is 7000 yuan. In 2018, there are 7 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in aera town.

History of construction

The town of aera originally belonged to aeranutuk.

In August 1958, aera commune was established.

In November 1984, it was changed to aera township.

In April 1986, the town of aera was established.

In June 2006, kuruqi township was incorporated into the city.

In June 2011, some of the areas were located in Ruqi township.

Aera town is located in the eastern foot of the Great Xing'an Mountains, high in the north and low in the south. Most of the terrain is hilly, the main peaks are alhaqian Aola, alraaola, Yile local Aola. The highest peak in the territory is located in Yile local Aola, with an altitude of 631 meters.

History and culture

"Aera" is a Daur language, which means "cheyuanzi". When the Daur people migrated from the upper reaches of Heilongjiang Province, because the cheyuanzi was broken, they built a village and settled there, so they got the name.
