Maodaotu Sumu

Maodaotusumu, belonging to Horqin left-wing rear banner of Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the northeast of Horqin left-wing rear banner. It connects with aduqin Sumu in the East and south, nugustai town in the west, and Horqin district and Menda town in KeZuoZhong banner in the north. The area is 840.39 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 13482 people had registered residence in Mau road.

In 1958, aoruiaile and sogen townships were merged into sogen commune. In 1960, sogen and wulanaodao communes merged into maodaotu commune. In 1962, Ulan Aodao commune was set up separately. In November 1984, the commune was abolished and changed to maodaotusumu. As of June 2020, maodaotusumu has 16 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.

By the end of 2018, there were 2 industrial enterprises and 50 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

During the period of Puppet Manchuria, the maodaotunutuk government office was set up.

In 1948, it was put under the left wing rear banner of Horqin.

In 1956, aoruiaile township was set up.

In 1958, aoruiaile and sogen townships were merged into sogen commune.

In 1960, sogen and wulanaodao communes merged into maodaotu commune.

In 1962, Ulan Aodao commune was set up separately.

In November 1984, the commune was abolished and changed to maodaotusumu.

In April 2006, it merged with Ulan Aodao Sumu.

At the end of 2011, maodaotusumu had 16 Gacha villagers' committees, namely, Baizi haorao, Gongyin haorao, LiuYe haorao, darximura, Hagen, shegen, Chaohai, santegan, Aile, ulanfandao, baqigu, Gaojing, huangshatu, holatu, guliguletu, Agui and wulijitala.

As of June 2020, maodaotusumu has 16 administrative villages: Beizi haoraogacha, suogengacha, Hagen chaohaigacha, chaohaigacha, daximulagacha, LiuYe haoraogacha, aotegacha, Gongyin haoraogacha, Ulan aodaogacha, bashougacha, gaojinggacha, huangshatugacha, hulatugacha, guligutugacha, aguigacha, Wuliji Talagacha, Sumu people's Government in haoraogacha, Beizi.

Maodaotusumu is located in the hilly area, the terrain is high in the West and low in the East. The landform is mainly composed of ridge dunes, flat sand and belt meadow. The soil is mainly composed of aeolian sandy soil and meadow soil, with a small amount of black soil, meadow alkaline soil and swamp, which belongs to typical marsh area.
