Tianjin Ziya economic and Technological Development Zone is one of the national economic and technological development zones determined by the Ministry of Commerce of the people's Republic of China.

Historical evolution

In December 2012, with the approval of the State Council, Tianjin Ziya circular economy industrial park was officially upgraded to a national economic and Technological Development Zone. So far, the total number of national economic and technological development zones in Tianjin has increased to four, namely, Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone, Tianjin Xiqing Economic and Technological Development Zone, Tianjin Wuqing economic and Technological Development Zone and the upgraded Tianjin Ziya economic and Technological Development Zone.

Ziya circular economy industrial park has developed rapidly in recent years, with rapid economic growth, increasingly perfect industrial chain, more prominent circular characteristics, and excellent performance in saving and intensive use of land and energy. It is consistent with the development trend of national next step construction and promotion of eco industrial park. It is the only national economic and Technological Development Park with circular economy as the leading industry in China District.

As the largest circular economy specialized Park in northern China, Ziya economic and Technological Development Zone was founded and developed from circular economy, but not only in circular economy. It has Ziya circular economy industrial zone, Jinghai economic development zone and Zhongwang Aviation Industrial Park. Among them, Ziya circular economy industrial zone has formed a remanufacturing industrial chain of construction machinery, scrap auto parts, and a new energy industrial chain of battery manufacturing and automobile assembly.

Honors

In December 2020, it was awarded the national eco industrial demonstration park.
