Liuzhai Street

Located in the north section of Nanyang Road, it is adjacent to the north section of Beihuan road and Changxing road of Zhengzhou City in the north, Nanyang Xincun street of Jinshui District in the south, Beijing Guangzhou railway in the West and fengle road in the East. Before the zoning adjustment in May 2003, Liuzhai street was the only urban street in Huiji District, and the office was located at 144 Nanyang Road. It covers an area of 1.54 square kilometers and has a population of 39916 (in 2010). Liuzhai street is jokingly known by the masses as "north and south, East and West, with patches in the middle", with small area and no development space. There are few enterprises in the jurisdiction, and most of them are in the state of bankruptcy or semi bankruptcy. With financial difficulties, it is difficult to guarantee the jobs of cadres and workers, and they are unable to develop the street work.

The main and secondary roads of Liuzhai Street are Nanyang Road, Dongfeng Road, general roads are xinglongpu Road, back street are Songzhai South Street, Songzhai North Street and Xingnan street. It has jurisdiction over four community neighborhood committees: Yuhua community, Liangyun community, Xinglong community and Tongle community. After the zoning adjustment in May 2003, four administrative villages, xinglongpu village, Liuzhai village, Zhangzhai village and xiaoduzhuang village, originally belonging to Laoyachen Town, were put under the jurisdiction of Liuzhai street, with the total area of 3.04 square kilometers and the population of 19731. The joining of the four urban villages has injected new vitality into the economic development of Liuzhai street and expanded the development space.

The central units in the district are: Xinglong National Grain Reserve in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, nanyangzhai warehouse of Zhengzhou zhongchu, Zhengzhou scientific research and Design Institute of State Grain Reserve Bureau. The larger public units are: Henan cotton and hemp company sanitary materials factory, Henan Jingu Industrial Co., Ltd., the fourth rest home for retired military cadres in Zhengzhou, Zhengzhou Oriental Hospital, Zhengzhou Tianxia Fine Chemical Co., Ltd., Zhengzhou Nanyang Road branch of industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Zhengzhou Nanyang Road branch of China Construction bank, Zhengzhou No.60 middle school, Dongfeng District of Huiji District of Zhengzhou Lu primary school, Huiji District art primary school, Zhengzhou traffic technical school, Zhengzhou Economic and trade technical school. Non public economic organizations include: Zhengzhou Shaolin Security Co., Ltd., Henan Branch of Weizhi group, Henan used goods trading center, Hufeng glasses wholesale market and lazy Boiler Manufacturing Co., Ltd.

In 2004, the revenue of Liuzhai street economy reached 25.17 million yuan, accounting for 103.4% of the annual revenue target.

Liuzhai sub district office has 11 departments, including party and government office, family planning office, judicial petition office, creation office, civil affairs office, finance office, economic office, labor security office, retirement management office, land office and safety supervision office, with a total of 78 cadres and workers.

It was established in 1978. In 1997, with an area of 1.5 square kilometers and a population of 17000, it has jurisdiction over 13 neighborhood committees, including Nanjie, tractor factory, grain machinery factory, Grain Science Institute, Nanyang station, xinglongpu and Tongle community. In 2003, four administrative villages in Laoyachen Town, xinglongpu, Liuzhai, Zhangzhai and xiaoduzhuang, were put under the jurisdiction of Liuzhai street. After the adjustment of administrative divisions, the total area of Liuzhai Street increased from 1.54 square kilometers to 3.04 square kilometers, and the total population increased from 6271 to 19731.
