Tianyi town
Tianyi Town, belonging to Ningcheng County, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the eastern edge of Ningcheng County, adjacent to Sanjia Mongolian township of Jianping County, Liaoning Province in the East, mangnong town in the south, Daming town in the West and Xizi town in the north. It is the residence of the county people's government, with a total area of 188 square kilometers.
In August 1945, Tianyi District Office was established after the liberation of Tianyi. In September 2006, Chengguan Town, Daming town, mangnong town and Yushulinzi Township were divided into Tianyi town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Tianyi town was 109773. In 2019, Tianyi town governs 20 communities and 19 administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in Changqing community.
In 2018, there were 50 industrial enterprises in Tianyi Town, including 12 above scale and 135 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In August 1945, Tianyi District Office was established after the liberation of Tianyi. In the winter of 1945, it was attacked and occupied by the Japanese puppet army. In March 1946, the PLA liberated Tianyi again and restored Tianyi district office. In August 1946, Kuomintang troops occupied Tianyi and set up Tianyi Township Office. In April 1947, Tianyi was liberated for the third time and the Sixth District People's Government of Ningcheng county was established. In the autumn of 1948, Tianyi town was established.
In 1958, the Sixth District was abolished to expand the administrative division of Tianyi town; on November 5 of the same year, Tianyi town was transformed into a commune.
In 1963, a part of Tianyi commune was set aside to build Tianyi town and work together with Tianyi commune.
In 1965, it merged with Tianyi commune and was called Tianyi commune.
In 1968, it was called Tianyi commune Revolutionary Committee.
On October 23, 1976, it was separated from Tianyi commune and restored to Tianyi town.
In 1983, Tianyi commune was changed to Tianyi township.
In 1993, Tianyi township was changed into Chengguan town.
In September 2006, 11 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Chengguan town were merged into Tianyi town with 3 administrative villages in Daming town, 3 administrative villages in mangnong town and 2 administrative villages in Yushulinzi township.
