Darenzhou village is located on the East Bank of Jianxi, which is the largest of the three major streams in the upper reaches of Minjiang River. It is this river that makes the two villages along the river very different. On the West Bank, there are 205 national highway and Punan expressway exit, with convenient transportation. Many businessmen have invested and built factories here. Therefore, the Housing Village on the West Bank is full of traffic, and various shops line up along the 205 national road. According to the data, there are 19 villages in Daheng Town, including 9 on the West Bank of Jianxi and 10 on the east bank. A total of six ferries have been set up along both sides of Jianxi River in Daheng town. When villagers on the East Bank of Jianxi river go shopping in the market town or work in the town government, they have to go by ferry. Some villages are directly divided into two by Jianxi, such as gengcheng village. The straight-line distance between the two natural villages is only 2.5km, but there is no bridge. It takes about an hour for villagers to walk around, either by ferry or by detour to the county seat.

Some villagers on the east bank told reporters that the economy on the East Bank of Jianxi was depressed compared with that on the West Bank. Take darenzhou village as an example, more than one third of the land has been abandoned. Many villagers go to cities to work, and most of them go to the other side of the village.

"The town of Daheng, where our town is located, has a registered residence of about 1900 people, but the resident population has 4500 people. The more than 2000 people are mainly from the east coast." A cadre of Daheng town government told reporters that many villagers on the east bank moved their families to the West Bank mainly because they thought about their children's schooling.

How to solve the traffic problem that plagues the villagers on the east bank? This reporter interviewed Jiang Xu, Secretary of the Party committee of Daheng town.

Jiang Xu said that facing the unbalanced development of the East and west coast, the town is also very anxious. They worked out the plan of "withdrawing ferry to build bridge" and planned to build gengcheng bridge and Yan'an bridge. After the completion of the two bridges, it will benefit nearly 10000 villagers in the eastern part of Daheng town and solve their travel, school and employment difficulties. However, due to the huge cost of building the bridge, the town can only do according to its ability. In the early stage, it is necessary to build a bridge in gengcheng village

The previous drawing design has been completed and is waiting for the approval of relevant departments.

Jiang Xu said that they have repeatedly invited responsible persons and technical experts from relevant provincial and municipal departments to the scene for investigation and guidance. Provincial Transportation Planning and Design Institute sent experts to the site for exploration and formed the preliminary design opinions on the "bridge to ferry" project in Daheng town. According to the hydrological conditions of Jianxi, the topography on both sides, the alignment of national highway 205 and the elevation conditions, the preliminary technical schemes for the construction of gengcheng bridge and Yan'an bridge were formulated.

It is also understood that the Yanping District government held a special meeting to demonstrate the "bridge to ferry" project in Daheng Town, arranged and deployed the relevant work, and initially worked out the implementation plan and responsible unit of the project.

Economic situation

Daheng green industrial zone is one of the key development areas in the 11th Five Year Plan of the municipal and district governments.
