Tianmu town

Tianmu town belongs to Beichen District of Tianjin city. It is named after Tianmu village where the town government is located. It is an influential Hui community in Tianjin. Tianmu town is located in the central and southern part of Beichen District, covering an area of 25.16 square kilometers (in 2017). It governs 15 villages and 18 neighborhood committees, with a population of 117679 (in 2017). The transportation extends in all directions. The Jingshan railway and Jingpu highway run through the north and south. They are the key cities leading to the capital. There is the largest Nancang railway marshalling station in North China. Beijing Tianjin Tangshan expressway, Beijing Tianjin highway, Tianjin bazaar highway and other important national highways run through the area, 15 km and 45 km away from Tianjin airport and port respectively.

In July 2020, it won the honorary title of national health Township from 2017 to 2019.

The reconstructed North Canal has beautiful scenery, and the newly built luanshui garden, Yuhe garden and amusement park become a view of the canal for sightseeing.

With the acceleration of urbanization, the proportion of primary, secondary and tertiary industries in Tianmu town has been constantly adjusted. As of 2006, the three industries accounted for 0.6%, 51.3% and 48.1% of the town's GDP respectively. The unique regional location has made the service industry of Tianmu town develop rapidly, forming four major stores centered on home world, lotus, Aoyuan business district and Huaxing car world. Steel, automobiles, motorcycles and other professional markets have formed a climate, and the warehousing and transportation industries are developed. The iron and steel logistics park has been included in the "Eleventh Five Year" logistics development plan of Tianjin and the professional logistics park supported by the municipal government. Relying on Nancang station, the largest railway marshalling station in North China, and Taking Chaoyang Road as the main line, the park covers a total area of 5000 mu. The park has four forming steel markets, such as chubao and baochuling, with 1.1 million square meters of warehouses and production and processing workshops, 22 railway special lines, 107 lifting equipment and about 150 transport vehicles. It is the largest railway logistics distribution center in China.

Tianmu town is rich in folk culture, and all ethnic groups live and work in harmony. The North Mosque of Tianmu village is the earliest Islamic religious building and activity place in Tianjin. Sports activities have a broad mass base in Tianmu town. Indoor swimming pool, shuttlecock hall, wrestling hall, chess and card room, outdoor fitness equipment, table tennis table, swimming pool, leisure place, fitness activity square and other sports facilities enrich people's cultural and sports life.
