Huaishuo town
Huaishuo Town, belonging to Guyang County, Baotou City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the north east of Guyang county. It is adjacent to Erzhi town of Wuchuan County in the East, Yinhao town in the south, Xingshun town in the west, and wukehudong town of Darhan maoming'an United banner in the north. The people's government is located in Huaixiang new village, 41 kilometers away from the county government, with a total administrative area of 782 square kilometers.
In the Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, huaishuo town belonged to maoming'an banner. In December 2005, bailingnao Township, luotahai Township and Donggong Township merged into huaishuo town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Huai Shuo town was 27880. In 2019, 11 administrative villages will be under the jurisdiction of huaishuo Town, and the people's government will be stationed in huaishuo new village.
In 2018, there were 28 industrial enterprises in huaishuo Town, including 5 above scale enterprises and 2 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, it belonged to maoming'an banner.
In 1926, Guyang county had three districts in the West and four districts in the East. In November 1937, it was called Gongde Township by the puppet Guyang County Office. In 1945, it was under the jurisdiction of Guyang county. It was called Minquan Township in the East and Minhe Township in the West.
In March 1950, it was called the fourth district.
In June 1955, it was called bailingnao district.
In July 1958, the area was abandoned and three communes of Hongqi, Huohuo and Dongfanghong were established; in December 1958, they were merged into bailingnao commune.
In March 1960, bailing commune and luotahai commune were established.
In July 1984, bailingnao Township and luotahai Township were set up.
In December 2005, bailingnao Township, luotahai Township and Donggong Township merged into huaishuo town.
