Hailutu Town, belonging to Horqin Left wing rear banner, Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the Middle East of Horqin Left wing rear banner, bordering Jinbaotun town in the East, zarisu town in the south, jilgalang town in the West and aduqin Sumu town in the north. The area is 779.42 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the population of Hai Lu Tu registered residence was 24656.

In August 1984, hailutu Sumu was established. In May 2006, bayas gulengsu was merged into the city and hailutu town was established. As of June 2020, hailutu town has 19 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.

Historical evolution

In August 1984, the hailutu Sumu was established in 18 Gacha, which were divided into three Sumu, bayastulung, baiyinmangha and haotan.

In May 2006, bayas gulengsu was merged into the city and hailutu town was established.
