Sarula street, belonging to Jiuyuan District, Baotou City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the southwest of Jiuyuan District, adjacent to high tech Zone in the East, Dalate Banner of Ordos City across the Yellow River in the south, halinger town in the West and Machi Town in the north. The total area of the area is 38.7 square kilometers, with a total population of 4704 in 2011.
In 1960, it belonged to Baotou Animal Husbandry Bureau. In 1968, it returned to the suburbs. In May 2007, sarula street was established. In June 2020, sarula Street governs four communities.

Historical evolution
On December 7, 1957, Baotou local state-owned Yellow River dairy farm was established, which belongs to the suburb of Baotou.
In 1958, it was transferred to Baotou agriculture, forestry and Water Conservancy Bureau.
On April 1, 1959, the Gaofeng brigade of Hongfeng commune in Machi, the former suburb, was assigned to Huanghe dairy farm.
In 1960, it belonged to Baotou Animal Husbandry Bureau.
In 1968, it returned to the suburbs.
In 1975, it was transferred to Baotou agriculture and Forestry Bureau, and then changed into Baotou agriculture and ranching Administration Bureau and agriculture industry and Commerce United Company.
On October 12, 1992, Huanghe dairy farm and Baotou dairy factory jointly established Baotou dairy company, and the competent department was Baotou farm management office.
On August 16, 2003, Baotou dairy company was assigned to Jiuyuan District.
In May 2007, sarula street was established.
