Tahe town
Tahe Town, which belongs to Tahe County in Daxing'anling area of Heilongjiang Province, is located in the south of Tahe county and the middle reaches of Huma River. It borders on the Oroqen township of Shibazhan in the East, targen town of Xinlin District in the south, Bishui town of Huzhong District in the west, Pangu town in the northwest and walagan town in the north. In 2018, the area was 1407.77 square kilometers, and the registered residence was 44537.
In the Republic of China, it belongs to the forest region of huma county. During the period of northeast occupation, it belonged to Oupu county. In the 36th year of the Republic of China (March 1947), it belonged to huma county. In May 1960, Tahe town was set up in xiaoguqigu (the current site of Tahe town), belonging to huma county. In April 1962, the town of shatahe was abandoned. In January 1964, Tahe Office of Northeast Forestry General Administration was established in Tahe. Tahe town is located in the northern foot of the Great Xing'an Mountains, the middle reaches of the Huma River, the whole territory of the wax gourd like. The general terrain is high in the West and low in the East, and the Huma River crosses the central part, forming a valley terrain with low middle and high schools between the north and the south. In addition to a few plains on both sides of the river, there are mainly low mountains and hills, mainly including 5 peaks, namely, amulu mountain, Hezuo mountain, Tema mountain, Qixia mountain and 107daling. The highest point 918 is located at the junction of Tahe County, Xinlin district and Huzhong District, and the lowest point 331 is located at the Huma River about 3km southeast of tafeng.
