Shuangquan town belongs to Dali County, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province. Historical evolution
It got its name because the town government was stationed in Shuangquan village.
In Ming Dynasty, it belonged to taiqili, duren Township, Chaoyi county.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Shuangquan police station.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to Datong township.
In 1949, it was changed into Datong District after liberation.
In 1956, when the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, it was changed into Shuangquan township.
In 1958, it belonged to Liangyi commune.
In 1961, Shuangquan commune was established.
In 1983, it was renamed Shuangquan township.
In May 2000, the township was removed to establish a town and renamed Shuangquan town.
