Qingxi Township

Qingxi Township, belonging to Sunwu County, Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the southwest of Sunwu County. It is adjacent to Xixing Township in the East, Chenqing town in the south, zhengyangshan Township in the West and Hongqi forest farm in the north. The township government is located in Qingxi village. The area is 263.32 square kilometers.

In 2018, the population of Qingxi Township registered residence was 2292. As of October 2019, Qingxi rural area has jurisdiction over seven administrative villages.

Historical evolution

In 1934, Yaoling station was built in Longzhen County, Heilongjiang Province.

On November 1, 1935, the whole line of beihei railway was opened to traffic, and Qingxi station was set up.

In December 1937, it was transferred to Sunwu County, belonging to the zengjiawobaobao.

In May 1947, Qingxi administrative village was established.

In May 1948, it was the first district.

In November 1954, the district was withdrawn and transferred to the county.

In March 1956, Qingxi township was set up.

In September 1958, a commune was set up in the county to change Qingxi Township into an operation area.

In April 1959, it was transferred to the people's commune of Sunwu town.

In July 1964, it was transferred to Xingbei commune.

In April 1965, it was renamed Chenqing commune.

In September 1976, the production teams of Qingxi, Yongchun and Yaoling designated by Chenqing commune and the flat top production team designated by zhengyangshan commune (formerly known as zhengyangshan first team) were merged to form Qingxi reclamation area.

In 1977, it was changed into Qingxi people's commune.

In 1984, it was changed to Qingxi township.
