Xiwanzi Town, belonging to Chongli District, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the east of Chongli District, adjacent to Chicheng County in the East, sitaizui Township in the south, Gaojiaying town in the southwest, hongqiying Township in the northwest and Baiqi Township in the north. It is 0.5 km away from Chongli District People's government, with a total area of 224.4 square kilometers.
In 1949, Xiwanzi town belonged to the first district of Chongli County; in January 1996, it was changed from Xiwanzi township to Xiwanzi town. By the end of 2018, the population of Xichang town registered residence was 31684. As of June 2020, Xiwanzi town has 24 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and its people's government is located in Xiwanzi.
In 2018, there were 50 industrial enterprises in Xiwanzi Town, including one above scale and 33 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1949, Xiwanzi town belonged to the first district of Chongli county.
In 1953, Xiwanzi town was set up, named after its residence.
In 1958, Xiwanzi commune was established.
In 1984, Xiwanzi commune was changed into Xiwanzi township.
In January 1996, it was changed from Xiwanzi township to Xiwanzi town.
In 2016, Xiwanzi town was changed into Chongli district.
