Huaibei Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Huairou District, Beijing, is located between 116 ° 37'06 ″ ~ 116 ° 44'08 ″ E and 40 ° 22'21 ″ ~ 40 ° 33'19 ″ n. It is located at the intersection of mountain area and plain in the north of Huairou District, bordering Xitiangezhuang town in Miyun District in the East, Beifang town in the south, Yanqi Town in the southwest, Bohai town in the West and LIULIMIAO town in the north. The town covers an area of 104.35 square kilometers.
During the Ming Dynasty, Huairou County was to the south of the Great Wall, and the villages of dashuiyu and Hefangkou belonged to Miyun County. To the north of the Great Wall, it belongs to the Mongolian Duoyan tribe. During the Qing Dynasty, Huairou County was to the south of the Great Wall, and Luanping county was to the north of the Great Wall. After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), Huairou County was located to the south of the Great Wall, of which dashuiyu and Hefangkou belonged to Miyun County. To the north of the Great Wall is Luanping county of Rehe special area. In 1948, Huairou County was the Fifth District to the north of the great wall and the Sixth District to the south. In December 1949, it belonged to the Fifth District, and the district government was stationed in Fengtou village. In July 1956, it belongs to the third district, which governs Zaoshulin, liushuizhuang, DENGGEZHUANG and Fengtou. In July, it belonged to majiafen and Hefangkou. In June 1958, Hefangkou township was merged into majiafen township. In September, it was incorporated into Dongfeng commune. In May 1961, the cemetery commune was established. Because the village was located in Xizhuang, it was renamed Xizhuang people's commune. In 1983, the commune was transformed into a township. In March 1990, the township was changed into a town. Because there is Huaibei station of Shatong railway, it is named Huaibei Town, and it is still located in Xizhuang village. By the end of 2018, 11816 people had registered residence in Beizhen. As of October 2019, Huaibei town has 1 community and 10 administrative villages, and the town government is located at No. 308, Xizhuang village, Huaibei town.
