In the mid-1930s, due to the chaos in Nanyang, the public order in Quanzhou was slightly stable, and Mr. Chen Zhengzong's family moved back to his hometown. Among the 37 courtyards, Mr. Chen Zhengzong's family of 12 crowded into four huts, and did not drive one person away. Before liberation, Mr. Chen Zhengzong's family returned to Nanyang, and all the properties were given to the local militia. After liberation, Mr. Chen Zhengzong heard that the PLA had no camp for the time being, so he lent his old house to the PLA to live in. At the peak, more than 3000 people lived there.
