Taishan temple town
Taishanmiao town belongs to Ningshan County, Ankang City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the east of Ningshan County, bordering Muwang town and Yangsi town of Zhen'an County of Shangluo City in the East, Longwang Town in the South and Chengguan town in the West. The maximum distance from east to west is 22.7 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 26.6 kilometers, with a total area of 274 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, Taishanmiao town has five administrative villages. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Tai Shan Temple was 5106. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Taishanmiao town was 51.3531 million yuan, and the total industrial output value reached 18.85 million yuan.
Historical evolution
In the reign of Daoguang (1821-1850) of the Qing Dynasty, there was a temple built for "master Taishan", which was named Taishan temple.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it successively belonged to the first and second guarantees of the Tailong joint guarantee and the first and second guarantees of the Tailong township.
In 1950, Taishan Temple Township was established.
In 1952, it was renamed xinkuang township.
In 1956, houchi Zengxi village in Zhen'an County was incorporated into the township, belonging to Taishan Temple District.
