Community introduction

Hongguang community, Datong Town, Qingbaijiang District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, is located in the south of Tangba highway in Datong Town, the center of the industrial park, covering an area of 1.9 square kilometers, with 10 villager groups and 2207 people. Since the land acquisition and demolition in 2005, dozens of large enterprises have been built in Hongguang community. Only 1, 2 and 10 groups of residents have not been demolished, involving 150 agricultural population. The rest have been transferred from agriculture to non agriculture and enjoy urban social security. The community plans to complete all the demolition tasks before the end of 2011. At the end of 2010, Hongguang community successfully completed the election of the eighth village branch and two committees. At present, the community has 74 party members, 2 party activists, 31 Council members and 50 resident representatives. Up to now, most of the residents in the community live in rented houses. At the beginning of 2011, 200 households have gone through the relevant procedures for the admission of Chunxiao resettlement house in Tongwan and have obtained the key. Tongfuyuan resettlement house will be completed in June 2011 and is planned to be delivered for use before the end of the year, which will solve the resettlement problem of most of the residents in the community.
