Yongsheng Township

Yongsheng township is a place name, which has the same name in Sichuan Province (3), Heilongjiang Province (3) and Jilin Province. Due to the influence of natural conditions and different local policy planning, there are differences in the development and construction of each township.

On July 29, 2020, the National Patriotic Health Association decided to name Yongsheng township as the National Health township for the period of 2017-2019.

General situation of villages and towns

Yongsheng township is located in the northwest edge of Jinkouhe District, 37 kilometers away from the district government, covering an area of 122.52 square kilometers. Altitude: 1522m. It is adjacent to Jinhe town in the East, Yonghe town in the south, Hanyuan County in the West and Hongya County in the north, with an average altitude of 1500 meters. The township governs 8 villages, 44 villager groups and 4285 people (2017). The transportation is convenient. The provincial highway 306 (Lexi highway) passes through the township from bottom to top for 40 kilometers. The township government is about 30 kilometers away from the railway station of Chengdu Kunming railway line. The rural highway is 40 kilometers long, including 7 kilometers of hardened roads and 15 kilometers of gravel roads. Yongsheng township is rich in corn, potato, soybean and sweet potato as the main crops and a variety of Alpine Chinese medicinal materials such as Sichuan Achyranthes bidentata, Angelica sinensis, Coptis chinensis, Gastrodia elata and Cordyceps sinensis. Among them, the alpine Chinese medicinal materials such as chuanniuxi and Angelica sinensis and green food such as Yongsheng Bacon and potato are well-known both inside and outside Sichuan and are sold all over the country. There are 2000 mu of pollution-free tea base, 1500 mu of pollution-free vegetable base, 6000 mu of Achyranthes bidentata base, 800 mu of Angelica sinensis and 10000 mu of red bean shirt planting base in the township. The planting base of Gastrodia elata is 5000 square meters. In 2006, the GDP of the township is expected to reach 26.72 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers will reach 2600 yuan.

The township is rich in mineral resources, water conservancy and land resources. There are 20000 mu of exploitable land resources, 836 mu of forest land, 42000 mu of forest land and 10000 mu of bamboo forest land. There are three mining enterprises (Shangzhou, Dayuanbao and Yiyuan) and two prospecting enterprises (jiaozigang and Xiaoxigou). The main rivers of water resources are the Shunshui river system. The tributaries include daxiugou River, Xiaoxigou River and Sancha River, with a drainage area of 127 square kilometers and a river length of 35 kilometers. There are 14 large and small power stations in the township.

Tourism

Yongsheng township has a special geographical environment and superior climate resources. The average temperature in summer is 20 ℃. It is a scenic spot for tourism and summer resort. In winter, it is covered with snow all over the mountains. It is a good place to enjoy the snow and play. There are magic Dawa mountain and five pools (five natural pools) in the township. On the top of Dawa mountain, you can overlook the majestic Jinkou Grand Canyon in the south, the Golden Summit of Emei Mountain in the north and listen to the distant bell in the west, and the jade snow peak of Gongga Mountain, king of Shu mountain in the West. The morning sun and the sunset, the sea of clouds and the waves of fog, make a grand view of the nature of heaven and earth. Wuchi is closely connected with Washan and maokeshan. It is composed of five glacial lakes, including Datianchi, ganchi, Yuchi, Gaoliang, Xiaotianchi, etc. The mountain of Datianchi is strange. It seems that two rhinoceros and a turtle surround the pond. The water in the pond is beautiful and sparkling.
