Seven Star Street
Qixing street is located in Xinchang County, Zhejiang Province. In September 2006, it was formed by the combination of the western suburb and Xiling of the former Chengguan town and the two neighborhood committees of Fengshan and Qixing. It is located in the northwest corner of Xinchang territory, with Nanming street in the East, Chengnan Township in the south, Meizhu town in the West and Shengzhou City in the north, covering an area of 52.5 square kilometers.
It has 33 administrative villages and 4 communities with a population of 74923 (2010).
In 2013, Qixing Street achieved a total output value of 34.54 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 25.2%; the delivery value of export products was 6.78 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.24%; the main business income was 34.31 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 28.6%.

Name and origin
In ancient times, there were seven star wells and seven star fan fields. The street got its name because of its location.
Evolution of administrative districts
County to the Qing Dynasty, respectively, Wushan Township, fengle township. Xuantong 2 years to the beginning of the Republic of China, belong to the west, West District (chengtan town). In the 21st year of the Republic of China, it was divided into 15 townships, including Liquan, Yanli, Yanxi, Qishan, Houxi, Huanglong, wulongao, Xishan, miaojiandi, Houcun, touzhuang, Wudu, Yuanxi, hulu'ao and Jiufeng temple. In the 24th year of the Republic of China, Yanxi, Qishan and Liquan were merged into Chengxi Town, Yanli into Chengbei Town, Xishan, miaojiandi, Houcun, touzhuang and Wudu into lingwai Township, and Yuanxi, hulu'ao and Jiufeng temple into Chengai township. In September 1950, it was divided into four townships: Xiling, Xijiao, lingwai and Qianxi. In 1956, Xiling, Xijiao, lingwai and Qianxi merged into Xiling township. In October 1958, it belonged to Xinchang people's commune, with four production brigades: qixingfan, May 4th, Jinxing and Liquan. In November 1961, Xiling and Xijiao people's communes were established. In 1983, the commune was transformed into a township. In 1992, Xiling and Xijiao were merged into Chengguan town. In September 2006, Chengguan town was abolished and divided into streets, with the former Xiling and western suburbs as Qixing streets.

Location context
Qixing street is located in the northwest of Xinchang County, bordering Yulin street and Nanming street in the East, Chengnan Township and Dongming Township in the south, Meizhu town in the West and Sanjiang street in Shengzhou City in the north.

Most of Qixing Street area is valley basin, and the north and south edge is hilly and mountainous area. The highest point in the territory is koushan, 340 meters above sea level. Wudu village is the lowest point in the county, 28 meters above sea level.

Qianxi river flows from south to North and Xinchang river flows from east to west.

In 2010, the population was 74923 (2010). As of 2015, the permanent population of Qixing street is 69000 (including 39000 non-agricultural population) and the floating population is 22000. The majority of street residents are Han nationality.

There are more than 300 mu of edible fungi cultivation base, more than 500 mu of hickory base, more than 350 mu of Dongkui red bayberry base, and more than 600 mu of other famous and excellent fruit base. Peach, grape, blueberry, cherry and pear are newly added in Xier village, yuanao village and Longshan In addition, it has formed a number of agricultural leading enterprises, such as the fishery breeding demonstration base in eastern Zhejiang, the Kuding tea base in Qianxi, the famous tea market in Jiangnan, and Xinlong agriculture.
