Fuyuan Township
Fuyuan Township, located in the northwest of Mishan City, Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province, borders on 8511 farm in the East, Peide town in the south, Tieshan Township in Qiezihe District in the West and Longtou town in Baoqing County in Shuangyashan City in the north. It is 29 kilometers away from the urban area, with a total administrative area of 199.86 square kilometers.
In 1916, the area of Fuyuan township was called wudaogang, belonging to Mishan county. In April 1984, it was changed from Fuyuan commune to Fuyuan township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Fuyuan township was 17753. In 2019, Fuyuan rural has jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in Fuyuan village.
In Fuyuan Township, corn and soybean are the main food crops, and cattle, sheep, pigs and poultry are the main animal husbandry. In 2018, Fuyuan township has 13 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1916, wudaogang belonged to Mishan county. In 1931, when the Northeast was occupied by the enemy, the Japanese development Corps stationed in wudaogang. The land in Fuyuan, civil affairs, and Ailin was developed and utilized by the development corps, which set up South wudaogang village and North wudaogang village. In September 1946, wudaogang district was established. In 1947, it was assigned to Peide district.
In September 1950, it was renamed District 9.
In 1956, it was divided into three townships: civil administration, Fuyuan and Ailin.
In September 1958, three rural reform areas were put under the control of Heping commune.
In 1959, civil affairs, Fuyuan and Ailin were assigned to 855 farm, which belongs to Hulin county.
In March 1962, it was changed into civil administration and Fuyuan commune.
In 1963, civil affairs and Fuyuan commune were assigned to Mishan county.
In August 1964, civil affairs commune was merged into Fuyuan commune.
In April 1984, Fuyuan commune was transformed into Fuyuan township.
