Donghai Street
Donghai street, belonging to Lufeng City, Shanwei City, Guangdong Province, is located in the central and southern part of Lufeng City, adjacent to jieshiwan in the south, Chengdong and Hedong towns in the East, Luohe and Hexi, Tanxi and Shangying towns in the west, and hetuling in the north, with a total area of 56 square kilometers. In 2017, the permanent population of Donghai street was 187000. As of October 2019, Donghai street has jurisdiction over 8 communities and 15 administrative villages.
Donghai street is located in Luohe plain. It gets its name because Donghe river passes through the city and flows to Wukan port. It is the seat of Lufeng municipal Party committee and municipal government, and the political, economic and cultural center of the city.
In 2015, the total industrial and agricultural output value of Donghai street was 22.6142 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.4%, of which the total agricultural output value was 780.15 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.51%, and the total industrial output value was 218.340.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.73%.
Historical evolution
During the spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period, it was the place of Baiyue.
In the 33rd year of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty (214 BC), it belonged to BOLUO County, Nanhai county.
In the sixth year of Xianhe in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (331), it belonged to Haifeng County.
Tang Wude five years (622), belongs to Anlu county. In the first year of Tang Zhenguan (627), Anlu county was abolished and donghaijiao was restored to Haifeng County.
In the second year of Xining (1069), Haifeng County changed "Li" to "Du Bao". Donghaijiao is located in fangkuo capital, which is a new donghaijiao city.
During the Kaixi and Jiading periods (1203-1219) of the Southern Song Dynasty, three settlements were formed in donghaijiao, including the old ruins, the ancient ruins and the new ruins.
In the fourth year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1371), Jiaoyi in Donghai was built. In the 42nd year of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty (1563), a village was set up to build an old market. In the ninth year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty (1636), the Si Fu appropriated kuyin to build the old market village city. At that time, the village city was 1.6 feet high, 21.3 feet long in the East, 26.5 feet long in the west, 48.3 feet long in the south, 43 feet long in the north, 139.1 feet long in the surrounding city walls, and was built by Tushe beihui.
In 1663, the donghaijiao garrison was set up. In 1729, Donghai jiaoyicheng was promoted to Donghai inspection department. In 1731, the Ministry of officials appointed the governor Hao of Guangdong Province to build Lufeng County according to the request of Fangkou, Shifan and Jikang in Haifeng County. Because "Donghai Jiaozhai is located in a moderate location, it is far away from Jieshi Jiazi, and it is the thoroughfare of Huichao", it was chosen as the county government and belongs to the first picture of Fangkou capital.
In 1930, the abandoned capital of Lufeng was divided into districts, and the county was divided into four administrative districts. Donghaijiao was under the jurisdiction of the first district. In 1934, two towns, Fucheng and Donghai, were established. In 1942, it was divided into Donghai No.1 town and Donghai No.2 town. In 1947, the first town of Donghai was renamed Fu town, and the second town of Donghai was renamed Donghai town.
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, the attached towns were merged into Donghai town and the people's Government of Donghai town was established. The Town Committee and government were located at No. 100 Nandi road.
In 2017, Donghai town was withdrawn and Donghai street was established.

Luohe River, the first river in Lufeng City, is a tributary of water flowing into the urban area at the three branches in front of Fenhe village, Hexi Town. It is located in the northwest of Yuanfa county and the east slope of sanshenconvex mountain, the watershed of Zijin County. It winds southeast and flows into Wukan port, bypassing the sand tongue at the foot of Hutou mountain, and flows into the South China Sea in the south of Shanghai village.

Orthography
Zhengzi opera, also known as Zhengyin opera, is also known as Nanxia opera. It is a legacy of Nanxi opera, which is sung in Zhongzhou phonological Mandarin (Zhengyin).
