In October 1949, Chengguan District, Town God's Temple street in South Street, under the jurisdiction of 9 street.
In May 1950, the 9th Street was merged into the 5th Street of East, West, South, North and station, and divided into two townships of Shiren and Hedong.
In January 1953, Shiren and Hedong were classified as Xiaoyi district.
In February 1956, Chengguan District was removed and Chengguan town was established.
In September 1958, the red flag commune of Chengguan town was abolished.
In December 1958, Chengguan District was established, belonging to Yaocheng commune of Tongchuan City.
In May 1961, Chengguan commune was established.
In August 1961, it returned to Yaoxian county.
