In 1968, Tieyuan and kongkeng communes merged into Junbu commune, named after Junbu.

Wanshougong Red Army headquarters site

Mao Zedong and Zhu De conducted the first anti encirclement and suppression battle in Longgang, which shocked both China and foreign countries. A civil structure house covering an area of 300 square meters is preserved. Articles used by Mao Zedong, Zhu De and other leaders in commanding battles are displayed in the house. A monument is built at the top of the mountain behind the house. Bashiqu hot spring

Bashiqu hot spring is located in Hengkeng natural village, Junbu village, Junbu Township, 2km away from Weizhen town. In 2013, the geological exploration fund center of Jiangxi Provincial Department of land and resources set up a project to explore the hot spring. Three wells were drilled with a depth of 300-600 meters, and the water quality and quantity were detected and analyzed. The hot spring is silicofluoride physiotherapy hot mineral water. The water temperature is 46-52 ℃, and the daily allowable mining capacity is up to 2000 tons. It is rich in sulfur, fluorine, metasilicic acid and other physiotherapy elements, and contains nearly 30 trace elements such as sodium bicarbonate, lithium, potassium, calcium, sodium, strontium, selenium and zinc.
