Longjiang Town, subordinate to Qionghai City, Hainan Province, is located in the southwest of Qionghai City and the South Bank of the middle reaches of Wanquan River. It is adjacent to Yangjiang town in the East and Southeast, Huishan town in the south, Shibi town in the west, Jiaji town and Wanquan town in the north. The administrative area of the town is 51 square kilometers.
In 1958, it was incorporated into Qionghai county (now Qionghai City). In October of the same year, it belonged to the senior agricultural cooperative of Longjiang Township, Dongping commune, Lehui county. In March 1961, Longjiang commune was established. In 1987, it was established in Longjiang Town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Longjiang town was 23949. As of June 2020, Longjiang Town has nine administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the people's Government of the town is located at No. 1, Wanquanhe Road, Longjiang Town market.
