Alaxiang
Ala Township, belonging to Luqu County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the east of Luqu County, adjacent to Lexiu township of Hezuo city in the East, Zhuoni County in the southeast and south, Shuangcha Township in the southwest and West, Xiahe County in the northwest and North, and Hezuo city in the northeast. The area is 175.91 square kilometers. In 2018, 3312 people registered residence.
In 1949, some areas were under the jurisdiction of Xiahe County. In 1958, it was put under the jurisdiction of Luqu County, and alar commune was established. At the end of the year, it was under the jurisdiction of Shuangcha commune. In 1961, the original organizational system was restored and called alaxiang. In 1966, it was renamed Hongguang township. In 1968, the original name was restored and the Revolutionary Committee was established. In 1984, it was changed into a township. In June 2020, ALA township has three administrative villages.
In 2018, there are two comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in alaxiang.

At the end of 2011, ALA Township had three villager committees, namely Bola, Tianduo and Jizha, and 17 villager groups.
In June 2020, ALA Township governs three administrative villages: Tianduo village, Jiza village and Bola village, and the Township People's government is stationed in Tianduo village.

Alaxiang is located in the inland, and the terrain inclines greatly from west to East. The main mountain range is amiwenbule mountain, with the highest elevation of 2880 meters and the lowest elevation of 2650 meters.

The annual average temperature in alaxiang is 4.2 ℃, the average temperature in January is - 6.9 ℃, and the extreme minimum temperature is - 25.5 ℃ (January 31, 1971); the average temperature in July is 12.6 ℃, and the extreme maximum temperature is 25.9 ℃ (August 3, 2012). The lowest monthly average temperature was - 11.9 ℃ (January 1973), and the highest was 16.7 ℃ (July 2006). The average annual temperature range is 23.1 ℃, and the maximum daily temperature range is 32.3 ℃ (June 30, 2003). The annual average growth period is 170 days, the annual average frost free period is 42 days, the longest is 105 days, the shortest is 30 days. The annual average sunshine hours are 2426.1 hours. The average annual precipitation is 598.2 mm, and the average annual precipitation days is 138.6 days. The extreme annual maximum rainfall was 726.5 mm (1978), and the extreme annual minimum rainfall was 453.0 mm (1980). The rainfall is concentrated from June to September every year, with the most in July.

In 2017, there were 3145 permanent residents in alaxiang.
In 2018, the population of ALA Township registered residence was 3312.
Economics
In 2011, alaxiang had 12000 mu of arable land, 280000 mu of grassland, 130000 mu of usable grassland, and 42.3 mu of usable grassland per capita. Highland barley is the main food crop. Animal husbandry is mainly raising yak, Tibetan sheep and Juema pig, with a total of 6090 yaks and a year-end stock of 5867; a total of 6987 Tibetan sheep and a year-end stock of 6059; and a total of 2890 Juema pigs, with an added value of 20.5 million yuan and a per capita net income of 2450 yuan.
