Yuchi Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Liangdang County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the middle of Liangdang County, adjacent to Xianlong Township in the southwest, zhanerxiang town in the south, Jindong Township in the north and Xinghua Township in the northeast. The total administrative area is 32.77 square kilometers.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it became yuchibao, under the jurisdiction of Xianlong township; in December 1983, it was changed to yuchixiang. By the end of 2018, 2596 people registered residence in Yuchi. As of June 2020, Yuchi village has jurisdiction over six administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Yuchi township was 1.986 million yuan. The total output value of agriculture is 11.461 million yuan.
History of construction
After 1912, it was under the jurisdiction of Xianlong township.
In July 1950, it was called Yuchi Township and later merged into Xianlong township.
In 1958, Cheng County, Hui County and Liangdang County merged, and their territory belonged to shangtan brigade of Yongning commune in Huicheng county.
In February 1962, the county was still under the jurisdiction of Xianlong.
In March 1963, Yuchi commune was established.
In December 1983, it was changed into Yuchi township.

Yuchi township is named after Yuchi temple, which was built in the second year of shaoding in the Southern Song Dynasty (1229).

Yuchi Temple
Yuchi temple is located in shangtan village of Yuchi township. It was first built in 1229, covering an area of 1750 square meters. It faces the northeast from the southwest. It is of brick and wood structure and is a quadrangle building. There are two original Great Buddha halls, in which there are dozens of great Arhats and small Buddha statues, and many murals, including Mountain Gate, stone drum, suose tree, thousand year old ginkgo, hundred year old boxwood, etc. From 1950s to 1970s, all the temple buildings were destroyed. It was designed by Gansu Institute of cultural relics protection in October 2004, rebuilt on the original site in February 2005, completed in August 2006 and opened to the public in November of the same year.
Qiaohe scenic spot
Qiaohejing tourist area is located in Yuchi township of Liangdang county. It is a national AA tourist attraction integrating farming experience, leisure and health preservation, sightseeing and picking, entertainment and vacation.
