Introduction to Shouxiang
Changshou township is one of the two rural townships under the jurisdiction of Jintai district. It is located in the northwest of Jintai district and is named after Changshou mountain. It borders Chencang Township and Jinhe township of Baoji County in the East, Gaojiacun Township and Hebin township of Weibin District across Weihe River in the south, Xiashi Township, Lingyuan Township and Jinhe township of Baoji County in the West and North. It is 10 kilometers long from east to west and 5 kilometers wide from north to south, with a total area of 21.7 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 13 villages, including 38 natural villages and 57 villager groups. There are 12876 villagers in 3985 households. Except for 9 Hui people, the rest are all Han people. Historical evolution
Changshou township was built in July 1949. Changshou people's commune was established in October 1958, changed to longevity management area of Xiangong people's commune in January 1959, restored to Changshou people's commune in August 1961, merged into Jinling commune in 1964, changed to Hongwei commune in 1966, restored to its original name in 1970, changed to township in 1984, and established Township People's government.
economic development
The land in the township is divided into three types: plain, slope and beach, with 12504 mu of cultivated land. There are 73 motor wells, 30 pumping stations and 5237 mu of irrigation area. It has 217 cars, large and medium-sized tractors, 63 rubber tyred trucks, 40 drills and 50 threshers. Agriculture mainly produces grain and vegetables, and grain mainly includes wheat, corn, beans, rape, etc. In 1988, the total grain yield was 2.064 million kg, with an average yield of 185 kg per mu, and the total rapeseed yield was 9.27 million kg, with an average yield of 57 kg per mu. The annual output of vegetables is 10.562 million kg, with an average yield of 3168 kg per mu. There are many kinds of vegetables. Zhifangtou's heart penetrating red carrot and dunrenbao's and hanjiazhuang's Chrysanthemum heart cabbage are famous. After 1979, industry and commerce developed rapidly. By 1989, there were 75 rural enterprises, including copper parts factory, mechanical and electrical repair factory, chemical factory, brick and tile factory, clothing factory, etc. Among them, there are 8 Township offices, 26 village offices, 20 organizations, 21 individual enterprises, more than 1880 employees, and the annual total output value is 14.2045 million yuan. There are 96 commercial outlets with a total annual income of 8.764 million yuan and more than 1000 employees.
educational level
At present, there are five primary schools in the township, and the school-age children enrollment rate is 98%. There are one health center, one veterinary station, one broadcasting station, one film team and one nursing home for the aged. There are many Neolithic Yangshao cultural sites such as fulinbao, zhifangtou, Wangjiayan, wenjiazhai and gaojiaping, and ancient temple sites such as Changshou mountain, Jinding temple, Bajiao temple, Kongtong temple and Wuye temple. The tomb of Yang Weizhi, the great scholar of Dongge in Ming Dynasty, is on the slope of the mausoleum.
