Xieshui town

Xieshui town belongs to Nanzheng District, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the west of Nanzheng City, adjacent to Hanshan street in the East, Qingshu town and Lianshui town in the south, Xinji Town in the west, Lianshui River in the north, Gaotai town and Yangchun town. The maximum distance from east to west is 7.5 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 9.4 km, with a total area of 30.67 square kilometers.

Xieshui town has a long history, with a provincial intangible cultural heritage protection project -- xieshui stilt Shehuo. There are Qingzuo mountain, Shibao mountain, Qingzuo mountain road view, Butler mountain road view, Zhangping millennium old cypress and other tourist attractions, and Lianhe River south bank agricultural sightseeing, vacation and leisure tourism belt.

Historical evolution

The original name of the Tax Association is "xiaotingba", which is located at the junction of Baocheng and Nanzheng counties. The handicraft industry and industry and commerce were very developed in the early days. Baocheng and Nanzheng counties set up an organization in Nanlu Temple (now Nanlu Village) of the town to collect taxes through negotiation, from which the name "Tax Association" came.

In 1949, it belonged to Baocheng County of Nanzheng.

In 1958, Baocheng County belonged to Zhongsuo District of Hanzhong City.

In 1961, when Nanzheng County moved from hanzhongpu town to Zhoujiaping, most of the county organs were set up in xieshui street.

In 1996, most of the former xieshui Township and most of Lianshan Township were merged to establish old and famous new towns (among them, panying village and Zhangba village of the former xieshui Township and Shimen village and Hanping village of the former Lianshan Township were included in Hanshan town).
