Shoushan township is located 9 kilometers southeast of Yanshou County in the north of Fuzhou City, and borders on Yabuli town of Shangzhi City in the south. It is about 7 kilometers up the mountain from the National Forest Park, covering an area of 239.41 square kilometers. It has six administrative villages and one state-owned forest farm, with a population of 17000.
