History of construction
In 1956, the "Qaidam Mangya temporary working committee" (county level) was established as the agency of the Qaidam Working Committee.
In April 1956, the Mangya Working Committee was established and worked together with the Mangya temporary working committee.
On July 21, 1964, Mangya town was established.
On May 30, 1984, Mangya administrative committee was restored as the agency of the state government.
