Shoushan Township
Shoushan Township, belonging to Pingnan County, Ningde City, Fujian Province, is located in the East northeast of Pingnan County. It borders Jiaocheng District in the southeast, Zhouning County in the northeast, Daixi town in the south, Tangkou town in the West and Shuangxi town in the north, covering an area of 101.37 square kilometers. In 2005, it had 14 village committees, 103 villager groups and 2142 households. In 2017, there were 4414 permanent residents in Shoushan township.
In 2005, Shoushan Township had a total agricultural output value of 35.17 million yuan, 8 industrial enterprises, and a total industrial output value of 29.43 million yuan. In 2017, there were 33 enterprises in Shoushan Township, with 487 employees, including 11 industrial enterprises.
On June 29, 2020, it will be included in the list of provincial rural governance demonstration towns.

The terrain is high in the East and northwest, and slightly low in the middle and southeast. The highest altitude is 1302 meters in Gupo peak, and the lowest is 250 meters in Yuanping village, covering an area of 101.37 square kilometers. Tangkou River, Houlong River, Baiyu River, Jinzao River and other streams pass through the territory and are rich in hydropower resources.

In 1991, the township's agriculture was still dominated by rice, sweet potato and other grain planting industries, with a small amount of tea and fruit. The total agricultural output value was 6.31 million yuan, of which tea, fruit, edible fungi and aquaculture accounted for 37%.
Since 1993, Shoushan township has gradually built three economic belts and three economic bases according to the geographical and resource conditions of each village: Baiyu Camellia oleifera economic belt, Jianglong Qianlong bamboo economic belt and Zhengyang Taibao edible fungus economic belt; Baiyu loquat base, Jianglong rabbit breeding base and Dongpan, puling alpine green tea base to develop characteristic planting and breeding industry according to local conditions. By the end of 2005, Shoushan Township had established 120 hectares of orchards, 130 hectares of tea gardens and 239 hectares of off-season vegetable bases. In that year, the total output value of agriculture was 35.17 million yuan, an increase of 457% over 1991; the output value of tea, fruit, edible fungi, vegetables and breeding industry was 21.97 million yuan, accounting for 62.5% of the total agricultural output value, an increase of 25.5% over 1991; the per capita net income of farmers was 2864 yuan, an increase of 2112 yuan over 1991.

By the end of 2005, all 14 administrative villages in Shoushan Township had opened program-controlled telephone and television networks, and connected with the county for power supply. Nine of them had installed tap water.
