Kuzongqiao Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Hengyang County, Hengyang City, Hunan Province, is located in the west of Hengyang County, adjacent to yanpi town in the East, Jingtou town in the south, Jinlan town in the West and Daan township of Hongshi town in the north. The administrative area is 99.73 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 49861 households had registered residence in the town.

During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to Jinhua town. In May 2011, the township was established and renamed as kuzongqiao town. As of June 2020, kuzongqiao town has one community and 20 administrative villages.

History of construction

During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to Jinhua town.

In October 1949, it was the Sixth District of Hengyang County.

In July 1952, it belongs to the seventh district.

In September 1958, it belonged to Chaoying people's commune.

In November 1961, kuzong commune was established, belonging to Yanpi district.

In May 1995, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged. Gujing Township and pailou Shikou Township were merged into kuzong township.

In May 2011, the township was established and renamed as kuzongqiao town.
