Liangjiang town

Liangjiang town is located in the southwest of Lingui district. In March 2006, it was merged from Liangjiang town and Dutou township. It is the hometown of famous patriotic general Li Zongren, the location of Guilin Liangjiang International Airport and the key town of small town construction in the autonomous region. The town is adjacent to Lingui town and Sitang town in the East, Chadong town in the west, Yongfu County in the South and Wutong town in the north. It is 20km away from Lingui town. Provincial highway 306 runs through the East and west of the town. Guilin Liuzhou Expressway and airport expressway meet in the town, forming a traffic network of two rivers extending in all directions. To the East, it can reach the coastal area, and to the west, it can reach Rongan, Rongshui and other northwest hinterland via Shoucheng, and to Yongshui in the south Fuzhou and Liuzhou, Longsheng and Hunan in the north, and Guilin Liangjiang International Airport also set up an air corridor for the two rivers to connect with each other. The industrial construction of Liangjiang town is the focus of the whole town's construction over the years. The district Party committee and the district government listed Liangjiang as a special industrial zone, which is a key industrial development town in Lingui district. Liangjiang town closely focuses on the goal of building a strong industrial town and a new airport town, and pays close attention to the planning and construction of Liangjiang town. Since 2002, a total of 20 enterprises have been introduced. According to the planning of the district Party committee and the district government, the town has an industrial concentration area with a planning area of 1500 mu and a preliminary planning area of 1000 mu.
