Qilitang Street
Qilitang street, formerly Qilitang Town, is located in the northeast of the original suburb of Hefei City, Anhui Province. It is adjacent to MODIAN township of Feidong County in the East, across the river from Lindian Township in the west, Xinghua village and Chengdong Township in the south, and Santou township of Changfeng County in the North. The town is about 6 kilometers long from east to west and 8 kilometers wide from north to south, with a total area of 28.2 square kilometers, including 18539.18 mu of cultivated land.

On April 17, 1993, with the approval of the municipal government, Yaohai street was established. Three villages, Shengli, Wangtang and Fangmiao, were designated by Qilitang town. At the same time, Changhuai village was designated by Chengdong township to form Yaohai street. In March 2002, Hefei city was zoned. Qilitang town was zoned from suburb to Yaohai district (former East urban area), and Banqiao Village was zoned from Xinghua village to Qilitang town. At this time, Qilitang town had jurisdiction over eight villages including zhantang, Qilitang, Xinhua, Xinghuo, Zhangwa, Huaihe, huaifei and Banqiao, and Yaohai neighborhood committee. In March 2003, Qilitang town was put under the jurisdiction of Xinzhan Comprehensive Development Experimental Zone by Yaohai district. In August 2004, Wanjiang community committee was assigned to Qilitang town. In 2004, the GDP of the whole year was 210 million yuan, the total output value of enterprises was 810 million yuan, the storage tax was 23.8 million yuan, and the fiscal revenue was 32.1 million yuan. In 2004, the per capita income of farmers reached 4559 yuan. On July 8, 2005, Qilitang town was changed into Qilitang street. The newly established Qilitang Street covers an area of 23.02 square kilometers and has a permanent population of 52000. It has jurisdiction over 10 community and neighborhood committees. Historical evolution
Before liberation, Qilitang town was a barren hillock. Because there were several small ponds here, which were 7 li away from Hefei county government, it was called Qilitang. On June 1, 2005, with the consent of the provincial government and the reply of the Provincial Department of civil affairs, Qilitang town was cancelled and Qilitang sub district office was established. On July 8, 2005, Qilitang sub district office was officially established.
