Liangshui town
Liangshui town is a place name. There are towns with the same name in Sichuan Province and Jilin Province. Due to the influence of natural conditions and different local policy planning, there are differences in the development and construction of each town.
On December 23, 2019, the people's Government of Sichuan Province approved Guangyuan City to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Qingchuan county and other four counties (districts) (cfzm [2019] No. 26): Maoba township was canceled, and the administrative areas of songshuliang group, zhongyuanzi group, Lijiagou group, baiyanglin group and shaofangli group in Lizi village of former Maoba Township and former Suhe Township were put under the jurisdiction of Liangshui Town, and Liangshui town was under the jurisdiction of the people's Government of Sichuan Province The people's government is located at 6 Market Street.
General situation
Liangshui town is located in the south of Qingchuan County, the hinterland of Qingzhu River Basin, connecting Chaba Township and Louzi Township in the East, Maoba Township and Suhe Township in the west, Qifo Township in the South and Dayuan Hui Township in the north. The terrain is high in the north and low in the south, with the highest altitude of 2113 meters and the lowest altitude of 480 meters. Covering an area of 75.5 square kilometers, it governs 8 villages, 1 neighborhood committee and 68 agricultural cooperatives, with a total population of 4424 (2017). there are 11669 mu of cultivated land, including 709 mu of paddy field, 6825 mu of cultivated land with slope greater than 25 degrees, accounting for 65% of the total cultivated land; there are 34375.5 mu of forest land, including 15909 mu of artificial commercial forest, 8116.5 mu of mixed irrigation timber forest, 4230 Mu of Auricularia auricula economic forest, 6120 mu of residual firewood forest; there are 29489.1 mu of barren hills, slopes and beaches; the climate is subtropical monsoon climate. Broad leaved forest and artificial coniferous forest are widely distributed in mountainous areas. the average annual rainfall is 850mm, the average annual temperature is 13.5 ℃, the annual frost free period is 210 days, and the average annual sunshine is 1337.6 hours. The reserves of Cement Mine and sand gold are large and the grade is high. Grain crops mainly produce corn, wheat, rice, soybean and minor cereals. The main forest products are Auricularia auricula, Lentinus edodes, Gastrodia elata and dried fruit. Liangshui distillery produces pure corn wine, which is famous in Qingchuan. Jianqing highway passes through the abdomen, and the county road turns to Liang highway runs through the whole territory. With convenient transportation and prosperous market, it is the material distribution center and window of Liangshui district and adjacent towns.
Evolution of organizational system
Liangshui township was established in December 1950; Liangshui commune was changed into Liangshui commune in October 1958, and Zhaohua county was put under the jurisdiction of Qingchuan County in the same year; Liangshui commune management committee was established in October 1980; Liangshui township was restored in January 1984; Liangshui town was established in October 1992.
