Tiemaike Township, belonging to Fuyun County, Altay Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the north of Fuyun County, bordering Kizil xilik Township in the East, kuerqis town in the south, Kurt Township in the West and Mongolia in the north. In 2018, the area of the area was 3000 square kilometers, and the registered residence population was 6022.
In November 1953, it was called Hongqi township; in March 1959, it was transformed into Hongqi commune; in August 1980, it was renamed tiemaike commune; in August 1984, it was transformed into township. In October 2019, tiemaike village governs seven administrative villages.
