Lianhe Township
Lianhe Township, belonging to Pengshui Miao and Tujia Autonomous County of Chongqing, is located in the northeast of Pengshui Miao and Tujia Autonomous County, adjacent to Shiliu Township in the East, Yushan Town and Lutang Township in the south, Puzi town in the West and Lianhu town in the north, with a total area of 69.58 square kilometers.
Before 1949, Lianhe township was divided into Yushan Town, Qinlin Township and Zhounan township; in January 1984, it was changed from Lianhe commune to Lianhe township. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in the United Township was 14049. As of June 2020, Lianhe rural has jurisdiction over four administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in caijiaba.
The main food crops in Lianhe township are rice, wheat, sweet potato and potato; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, beef cattle, goats and poultry; the main industry is individual processing industry. In 2018, there were 6 industrial enterprises in Lianhe Township, including one above scale.
History of construction
Before 1949, it belonged to Yushan Town, Qinlin Township and Zhounan township.
In February 1951, United Township was established from Yushan Town, Qinlin Township and Zhounan Township, belonging to the first district.
In January 1953, Lianhe township was divided into Tonglian Township, Sanyan Township, Longchi Township and Lianhe Township, and changed to the Tenth District.
In January 1956, Tonglian Township, Sanyan Township and Longchi Township were withdrawn and merged into Lianhe township.
In March 1958, Shiliu township was merged into Lianhe Township, which was changed into Lianhe commune.
In January 1984, after Shiliu township was separated out, the United commune was changed into United Township.
