Rushanzhai Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Rushan City, Weihai City, Shandong Province, is located at the intersection of Qingdao, Yantai and Weihai, in the southeast of Jiaodong Peninsula, in the southwest of Rushan City, facing Xiacun town and Rushankou town across Rushan River in the East, the Yellow Sea in the south, Yuhuang mountain in the West and Haiyang City in the north, with an administrative area of 135.92 square kilometers.
In the ninth year of Hongwu of Ming Dynasty (1376), the inspection department of Rushan village was set up. In June 1989, it was changed into Rushanzhai town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Rushan town was 31867. As of June 2020, Rushanzhai town has 44 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
In 2018, the financial revenue of Rushanzhai town was 26.39 million yuan, and the total industrial and agricultural output value was 5.16 billion yuan. Among them, the total industrial output value was 4.38 billion yuan, and the total agricultural output value was 773 million yuan. The total income of rural economy is 394 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers is 48500 yuan. The investment in fixed assets reached 1.36 billion yuan. In 2018, there were 57 industrial enterprises in Rushanzhai Town, including 8 Enterprises above Designated Size and 27 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the ninth year of Hongwu of Ming Dynasty (1376), the inspection department of Rushan village was set up.
In January 1951, it was called Rushanzhai township.
In September 1958, it was called Rushanzhai commune.
In March 1984, Rushanzhai township was restored.
In June 1989, it was changed into Rushanzhai town.

Located 18 kilometers to the southwest of Rushanzhai Town, the scenic spot of Feiyu mountain belongs to the extension of Jiaodong section of Changbai Mountain system. Surrounded by mountains, it forms a "herringbone" shaped gorge in the middle, which is the name of Feiyu mountain. In March 2009, it was rated as national AAA scenic spot.

Famous people
Yu Shoutang (1896-1972), formerly known as Yongnian, was born in dongjiamagou village, Rushanzhai town. In March 1949, diaowendong was appointed as the chief of the industrial section and then the director of the forestry bureau. In March 1956, he served as director of the forestry bureau of Laiyang special administration. In May 1958, he was elected as the deputy head of Rushan county. After the county was withdrawn, he was appointed as the deputy head of Haiyang county. In January 1962, he was appointed deputy head of Rushan county.
Yu Zhou (1904-1978), formerly known as Yu Xingfu, was born in lijiaxing village, Rushanzhai town. In May 1941, he served as the president of Donghai rescue societies and Deputy Commissioner of Donghai special office. In August 1945, after the liberation of Weihaiwei, he served as mayor and special envoy of Weihaiwei. In April 1949, he joined the Liberation Army to the south of the Yangtze River and served as the leader of the ninth brigade of Beijing Shanghai Hangzhou railway. In 1953, he was transferred to the locomotive and rolling stock repair Bureau of the Ministry of Railways as director. In 1961, he served as vice chairman of the science and Technology Committee of the Ministry of railways. He died in Beijing in July 1978 at the age of 74.
Li Yanjiao, female, deputy director of science, education, culture and History Committee of Rushan CPPCC Committee. Cui Jiagou village, Rushanzhai Town, was born in August 1957. He began to work in 1976 and joined the Communist Party in 1980 with a college education.
