Dongfeng Township
Dongfeng Township, belonging to Taobei District, Baicheng City, Jilin Province, is located in the north central part of Taobei District, Baicheng City, bordering Zhibao town and Taohe town in the East, Hailin town in the south, Sanhe Town in the west, and Pingtai town and Qingshan town in the north, with a fan-shaped area of 80.47 square kilometers.
In three years (1914), it was the first district in Tao An county (now North of the Tao). In the twenty-five years of 1936 (1936), it was the Taiping Village in the first district of Tao an County; in 1961, the Dongfeng commune was established; in 1983, communes changed to the countryside; as at the end of 2018, Dongfeng Township had 32736 registered residence population; as of June 2020, Dongfeng country had jurisdiction over 12 administrative villages; the township government was stationed in Changfa village.

History of construction
In 1914, it belonged to the first district of Taoan county (now Taobei District).
In the 25th year of the Republic of China (1936), it belonged to Taiping Zhuangbao, the first district of tao'an county.
In 1961, Dongfeng commune was established.
In 1983, the commune was transformed into a township.
