Yongping Township, subordinate to Fuyu City, Songyuan City, Jilin Province, is located in the west of Fuyu City, 80 kilometers away from Fuyu city and 20 kilometers away from Songyuan City; it is adjacent to sanjingzi town in the East, Sheli Township in the south, Shanyou town in Ningjiang district in the West and sanjun Manchu Mongolian Xibo Township in the north. The total administrative area is 229.11 square kilometers.
In 1946, Yongping Township belonged to the fourth district; in 1983, Yongping commune was transformed into Yongping township. By the end of 2018, Yongping Township had 29150 registered residence population. As of June 2020, Yongping has jurisdiction over 19 administrative villages.
