location advantage
Superior ecological advantages: due to the vast land and sparse population since ancient times, the forest has not been over felled, the original natural secondary forest is well preserved, and now the forest coverage rate has reached 70%; the overall climate is subtropical, with an average annual rainfall of 1500 mm and frost free period of 180-210 days. The highest peak of niucaoshan is 1423 meters, and the lowest is only 220 meters in Huangwei street, with a drop of 1200 meters. With the mixture of trees, shrubs and grasses, the ecological barrier in the area is complete, the four seasons are distinct, the climate is pleasant, the green mountains are growing, the green water is flowing, and all kinds of animals and plants can reproduce freely and fully. It is this superior ecological environment that provides a broad stage for the development of ecological organic agriculture and a hardware support for the development of eco-tourism.
Prominent traffic advantages: there are two existing external channels, about 65km to Yuexi in Nantong and Huoshan in Beitong. Asphalt pavement has been paved to Huoshan; asphalt pavement can be paved to Yuexi in 2004. All of the 10 villages under the jurisdiction have village roads, village headquarters and population concentration sites, and most of them have been paved with gravel. The lu'an-anqing section of Dongxiang expressway, which is planned to start construction at the end of 2004, will pass through Huangwei and set up entrances and service areas near the town area. In order to cooperate with the construction of the expressway, the County Transportation Bureau and the county development and Planning Commission have planned the circular roads from Huangwei to Toutuo and from Huangwei to Qingtian. At that time, Huangwei will become an important transportation hub in the northwest of Yuexi. The internal and external transportation is very convenient, especially it only takes about 3 hours to drive to some surrounding big cities.
The edge of the town advantage: Huangwei town government is located in the small market town, formerly known as Huangwei street, as early as 1941 has a market town scale, workshops, shops gathered. Huangwei market town has been expanded several times on the original basis, with a total area of about 10 hectares. At present, the municipal functions of the market town are complete, the front and rear streets and main roadways are paved with cement pavement, the water supply and drainage are unobstructed, and the power supply, telecommunications, cable TV and other facilities are complete. Because the market town is close to the border between Yuexi and Huoshan, Anqing and Lu'an, and strides into Huoshan 400 meters to the north, the prosperous market town has attracted thousands of foreign traders and producers of agricultural, sideline and local products to trade, with an annual turnover of about 20 million yuan. It has become an important trade center in the border area of the two counties.
Market town construction
Huangwei town gives full play to its location advantages, highlights the characteristics of border trade market towns, takes various measures, pays close attention to the infrastructure construction of market towns, and constantly improves the comprehensive carrying capacity of market towns. The appearance of market towns has been improved, and the radiation and driving functions of market towns have been enhanced. In order to build Huangwei market town into a key border trade market town worthy of the name of Yuexi County and even quan'anqing City, in 2006, Huangwei town raised more than 1 million yuan, expropriated 20000 square meters of land and built a new Gleditsia sinensis market town new area according to the coverage, radiation area and planning of the market town. At the same time, Huangwei town adopts the methods of remote households relocation, geological disaster households, poor households, post disaster housing reconstruction, etc., unifying land acquisition, unifying approval, unifying design, unifying construction progress, and centralized housing construction. 116 households have moved into the new area, and completed the basic supporting projects, such as street pavement hardening, sewer lining, street lamp installation and environmental sanitation improvement.
