Desheng street, subordinate to Jinzhou District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northeast of Jinzhou district. It borders Dalijia street in the East, Jinshitan street in the south, dongjiagou street in the West and liangjiadian street in the north. The maximum distance between East and West is 8 km, and the maximum distance between North and south is 7 km, covering a total area of 52 square kilometers.
In April 1946, it was assigned to Yuhuang District of Jinxian county. In August 1950, Yuhuang district was renamed the fourth district. In September 1955, it was renamed Yuhuang district. In February 1956, the Jade Emperor divided Dalijia and Desheng into two townships. In June 1958, the two townships were merged into Dalijia commune. In August 1961, Dalijia commune set up six production teams to form the victorious commune. In October 1983, Desheng commune was transformed into Desheng township. In June 1993, Desheng township was transformed into a town. In March 2010, Desheng Town was transformed into Desheng street. At the end of 2011, Desheng sub district had a total population of 16442, including 12180 urban permanent residents, with an urbanization rate of 74.1%. As of June 2020, Desheng street has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 10 administrative villages, and its sub district office is located at No. 39, Desheng section, jinhou road.
