Xinyuan town
Xinyuan Town, formerly known as Qijiazi Township, belongs to Fuyu City, Songyuan City, Jilin Province. It is located in the southeast of Fuyu City, between Taolaizhao town and Sanchahe Town, 110 kilometers away from Changchun City in the south, 90 kilometers away from Harbin City in the north and 120 kilometers away from Songyuan City in the northwest. It is adjacent to Wukeshu Town, Yushu City in the southeast, Taolaizhao town in the South and Sanchahe town in the north. The total administrative area is 82 square kilometers.
In April 1962, Qijiazi commune was established; in July 2001, Qijiazi township was changed into Xinyuan town. By the end of 2018, Xinyuan town had 17339 registered residence population. As of June 2020, Xinyuan town has one development zone and 11 administrative villages.
In 2011, the GDP of Xinyuan town was 6500 yuan, and the full caliber fiscal revenue was 2.6 million yuan.
History of construction
In April 1962, seven communes were set up.
In December 1985, Qijiazi commune was transformed into Qijiazi township.
In July 2001, Qijiazi township was changed into Xinyuan town.
